HI

Hi to everyone. Has been a while. Thanks for the comments. All is well on this end. One thing I have always done is to trust in myself despite highs and lows. Thank goodness. Minor league baseball really tests this. For the first time in my life I am playing every day, every week. It takes a toll, and takes getting used to. Am rolling with everything now, but there was an adjustment. Am in a bit of a slump, but I will get out of it. The team is doing ok, tho we all want to be a bit more consistent. We have the talent to do better. We hope to warmup soon.

I’ve been playing the new guitar hero metallica. The rifts and the hammer seem to be a little different in the way that in some songs the notes connect on with lines, which I am not used to. But as far as the game goes, the graphics are awesome and the notes seem much more clear to see. Some of the songs seem impossible and no one is going to crush any song the first time. Am getting pretty close on beating many of the songs. Am working on two right now that are a challenge. I am trying to translate what I learn here to a real guitar that I bought in the offseason. I love music, all music, especially country. I hack around on the guitar more and more these days.

Thank you and God bless you all.

thanks for the update brett! I always look forward to your latest blog entry, keep them coming! It’s always really cool to see the life of a up-and-coming young athlete before he’s a worldwide star.

Thanks, and good luck! I’ll be driving down to Appleton to watch a few t-rats games this year, hope to see you crush a few!

    Hi Brett,
I am curious if you miss catching, it must be quite different to translate into an everyday player in positions you have limited experience in. Thank you for the blog posts, to echo the other comments, it is really neat to be able to read your blog as we all have very high hopes for you. Keep up the good work!

    Hey Brett,
Huge Brewers fan from Appleton, been to 11 games in Milwaukee and sadly one in Minnesota, I will be in Appleton tomorrow for my first trat game but i plan on going to at least 5 or 6 during the summer.
Anyways, I was at the game earlier this year when Mat Gamel had his first ab in the 2009 year with a standing ovation from the Brewers fans, I am really looking forward to the day that you get that experience
    best of luck…

    Hi Brett,

Was just curious how you were doing and came upon this blog. It’s a long time since the grade 7 basketball! You’ve done well and congrats. Your sister is also doing well. Good for both of you. Take care of yourself and stay upbeat. I’m sure it must be difficult at times. Wishing you the best!!

    Brett,

Love the blog, it’s interesting to read about a player as he progresses through a season. Of course you’re a high end prospect for not just the Brewers but also throughout baseball. My buddy and I have recently posted about some of the under the radar prospects most fans may not have heard of. I know my research has been done by looking up stats and what other scouts have said to find some guys. I don’t have the means to actually be abel to watch all the minor league affiliates play so sI work with the means I have. Out of curiosity, is there a guy or two in the organization who you feel is a future star to watch out for who just hasn’t got the recognition they may deserve? Othersie best of luck to ya!!
